Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to become the Francis Scott Key Elementary Family Engagement Coordinator to oversee family engagement and relations during the afterschool program. All family engagement programs take place Monday through Friday at FSK. BACR's goal is to foster clear lines of communication and engagement opportunities between families and our After School Program.

This full-time position is all about creating welcoming and interactive family engagement opportunities every Monday through Friday. As the Family Engagement Coordinator, you’ll be at the forefront of fostering effective communication between our families and the afterschool program. If you have a knack for creating culturally appropriate programs that resonate with diverse families, we want to hear from you! In this role, you'll plan engaging events like workshops and family nights to connect with parents and showcase what their kids are accomplishing. You’ll also manage a resource desk, handle family inquiries, and maintain communication about attendance and program updates. Your experience in youth programs and your ability to adapt quickly to changing dynamics will be key. Plus, your bilingual skills in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish will add incredible value to our team.
