Software Engineer, Full Stack (Data Input)

Benchling is a leading biotechnology software company aiming to accelerate life sciences research through their R&D Cloud platform. They seek a Software Engineer for their Data Input team to develop core data entry functionalities for scientific users, contributing to critical product initiatives with significant ownership.

Skills

Full-stack web application development experience
Proficiency with React or similar JavaScript front-end frameworks
Strong backend API and model design skills
Product-focused software engineering with quick shipping cycles
Leadership in managing large, complex projects

Responsibilities

Own large-scale projects end-to-end, from ideation through to rollout to end-users
Engineer backend models, APIs, and rich frontend components across the stack
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and teams to build exceptional products
Create new products and enhance existing features for data input usability
Mentor engineers and lead technical and architectural discussions
Architect a scalable platform of Data Input components for reuse across Benchling

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
