About this position

Scrum Masters at BLEN play a vital role in facilitating agile processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across our development teams. They combine deep expertise in Agile methodologies, strong leadership skills, and a collaborative mindset to guide teams in delivering high-quality solutions efficiently. Our Scrum Masters work closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution, remove impediments, and drive the adoption of Agile best practices. They are instrumental in building high-performing teams and creating an environment that promotes innovation, transparency, and sustainable delivery.


What we would like from you
  • As a Scrum Master at BLEN, you will serve as an Agile coach and facilitator, ensuring our teams work effectively to deliver value to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within the organization
  • Guide and coach teams on Agile Scrum principles and practices
  • Lead all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective
  • Work closely with Product Owners to ensure backlog refinement and prioritization
  • Identify and remove obstacles that are hindering team progress
  • Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions
  • Track and communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
  • Monitor team health and performance metrics
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that embraces Agile values
  • Coach team members in self-organization and cross-functionality
  • Ensure teams follow the Scrum framework and adhere to Agile principles
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and improve team dynamics
  • Support the scaling of Agile practices across multiple teams
  • Help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time
  • Mentor other Scrum Masters and share best practices
  • Drive organizational change and Agile transformation initiatives
  • Collaborate with leadership to align team goals with organizational objectives

Your main goal will be to enable our teams to achieve their highest potential through effective Agile practices and continuous improvement, ensuring successful delivery of solutions that meet our clients' needs.


Basic qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies
  • Experience working in a government contracting environment
  • Proven track record of coaching teams in Agile methodologies

$115,000 - $135,000 a year
The salary range represents the compensation we expect to offer candidates who can perform the core responsibilities with minimal additional training. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as skill set, level of experience, and scope of responsibility.
