Consolidations Accounting Manager

Blockchain.com, a global leader in digital asset software, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Consolidations Accounting Manager to oversee the company’s consolidation processes and manage a team within their finance department in Dallas, Texas. This role demands strong leadership, technical accounting expertise, and collaboration with internal and international teams.

Skills

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and consolidation accounting
Experience with consolidation systems such as NetSuite Multi-Book
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills
Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Attention to detail and accuracy
Experience working with global finance teams

Responsibilities

Manage and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes ensuring deadlines are met
Oversee consolidation activities including chart of accounts changes, reporting hierarchies, and intercompany eliminations
Prepare and review consolidation journal entries and foreign currency translation adjustments
Analyze and validate foreign currency impacts on financial results
Serve as key liaison for consolidation issues across global finance teams
Analyze and reconcile intercompany balances and resolve discrepancies
Maintain the consolidation system (NetSuite Multi-Book) ensuring data integrity
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules for audits
Assist month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing and management reporting
Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and external auditors
Provide guidance to accounting staff on consolidation matters
Participate in cross-functional projects and drive process improvements through automation

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
CPA certification preferred
