Electrical Drafter
- Create design drawings for control panel layout, bill of materials, P&IDs, and electrical wiring schematics and drawings, to ensure they meet project specific, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Follow guidance and input of Control Engineer.
- Check own work prior to issuing for approval by Control Engineer.
- CAD as-built drawings from Control Engineer redline drawings.
- Associate Degree in Instrumentation and Electrical Design, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of drafting experience, required.
- Knowledge, experience, and proficiency of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical required.
- Knowledge and experience of other CAD programs such as EPlan desirable.
- Experience with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Reader.
- Detail oriented with a drive for accuracy.
- Highly flexible with strong organizational and time-management skills while meeting strict deadlines.
- Effective communication skills.
- Maintains a positive temperament and objective approach while under stressful conditions.
- Takes responsibility and is accountable for expectations and actions.
- A self-starter with the ability to plan and prioritize work.
