The Boeing CompanyOur Projects, Assets, Construction, and Engineering (PACE) team within Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) is seeking two Senior Project Management Specialists (Level 4). These positions will be pivotal in leading complex construction expansion projects and large scale infrastructure initiatives. Ideal candidates will possess extensive project management experience, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of construction processes and best practices. You will be located in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Both roles will manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and other partners; monitor project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and opportunities. This will include preparing and presenting detailed project reports, including financial analysis, to executive leadership for transparency and accountability. To ensure project success, you will conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges, ensuring proactive problem solving throughout the project lifecycle.
Position Responsibilities:
Senior Construction Project Management Specialist
Dedicated and experienced Construction Manager to lead and manage our BSC Site Expansion projects
Responsible for overseeing all construction activities, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with established timelines and budgets
Develop comprehensive construction management plans that outline project scope, timelines, and resource allocation
Oversee the entire construction process from pre-construction planning through project completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications
Establish and enforce quality control standards
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards
Senior Employee Experience Project Management Specialist
Passionate and results driven Project Manager to lead initiatives that enhance the overall experience of Boeing teammates
Focus on ensuring all projects with employee interaction or impact are designed and executed to create a positive, engaging, and fulfilling experience for our workforce
Lead and manage employee experience projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and employee needs
Collaborate with cross functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that enhance the employee experience
Act as primary point of contact for all employee experience initiatives, engaging with stakeholders at all levels to gather insights and feedback
Foster strong relationships with Production, HR, Finance, Operations, IT, Facilities, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and other site functions to ensure a holistic approach to employee experience
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience on large scale construction/infrastructure projects or facilities project management
5+ years of experience managing to project schedules and budgets
5+ years of experience with project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile) and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera)
Team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading cross functional teams
Professional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
Effective analytical and strategic thinking skills, ability to make data driven decisions
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in construction management, civil engineering, project management, or a related field
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent
5+ years of experience in program management or financial management using best practices
5+ years of experience with risk identification and mitigation plans
5+ years of experience working with project finances/budgets
5+ years of experience developing and presenting recommendations to executive level management
5+ years of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
Experience with contract management, invoice management / reconciliation, and vendor management
