Training Manager - Job descriptionBureau Veritas North America – Power group is seeking a Training Manager to join our fast-growing team in Dallas, Texas. The company provides owner’s representation, preconstruction management and consulting services to the utility-scale renewable-energy markets, including the wind, solar, battery energy storage and transmission sectors.Employment Type:• Full time• Hybrid work schedule• Starting immediately• Office in downtown Dallas (M/T/W in office; Th/F from home)Compensation:• Salary, exempt• $85,000 - $115,000 per year• Great benefits• Monthly cell phone reimbursement up to $120• Matching 401KQualifications:• Four-year degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field• Three to five years of training and development experience, or related, similar experience• Experience in construction, renewable energy, or engineering fields preferred• Advanced database, computer skills, and record-keeping skills• Good collaboration and teamwork skills• Ability to plan, manage time and multitask effectively• Highly-organized and detail oriented, with excellent follow-through• Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and manage sensitive information• Communicate professionally, effectively, and timely (both oral and written)• Self-motivated to complete tasks with ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities• Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsResponsibilities:• Identify and assess training needs of BV Power team members• Understand available training resources and utilize those resources when they benefits our team.• Create training plan for BV Power team. Taylor training plan to client needs on as needed basis if applicable on a specific project need basis• Keep accurate records of existing employees and new employees training needs and renewal of an upcoming expiring training• Spearhead ProMPT (Project Manager Professional Training) training that is being developed internally• Find appropriate professionals to provide training and oversee that training when applicable• Manage 3rd party training platforms• Work with HSE and safety Managers, keep consistent communication lines with HSE to coordinate training needs and meet BV Corporate safety expectations• Understand KPIs set by leadership and ensure BV Power is compliant and exceeds expectations• Coordinate new user training for BV Programs to all new hires• Follow up with team members to ensure no past due training dates or incomplete training• Create training budget and review with leadership. Manage the approved training budget• Help organize learning and development events for BV Power team
