This role will be based at our Dane, WI facility, with an initial two-week training period at our Cudahy, WI location.

Requirements

  

What You’ll Do:

  • Design internal and external switchgear components and drawings.
  • Generate detailed Bills of Material in ERP. 
  • Create assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Work with manufacturing partners and assemblers to ensure necessary details are provided for efficient assembly.
  • Generate/Update ECN’s, revisions, maintain strong document control in PDM environment.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as drawing redlines, emails, and schedule updates.
  • Attend training to learn or refresh necessary technical skills to ensure designs are compliant with applicable codes and standards.
  • Periodic travel to manufacturing location required.
  • Work with Engineering to ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and regulations.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3+ years' experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP preferred. 
  • Solidworks specific training is preferred.
  • SolidWorks PDM preferred.
  • Experience creating AutoCAD 2D drawings a bonus.
  • Proficiency in MS Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management and problem-solving skills.
  • A willingness to work long hours and overtime, if needed.
  • Valid driver's license
