JOB DESCRIPTION:


VMWARE / Machine Room/ Network and Storage. Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration. Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating systems software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.


• Account Management and Support: Handle account creation, password resets, and installation of security certificates to ensure seamless user access and data protection.


• NetApp Storage Administration: Provide support and maintenance for NetApp storage systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.


• Hardware Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware issues efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain system functionality.


• Workstation Relocation and Setup: Manage the logistics and setup of workstation moves, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to workflow.


• VLAN Configuration and Maintenance: Oversee the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of VLANs to maintain network performance and security.


• VMware Infrastructure Support: Administer and troubleshoot VMware environments, ensuring high availability and system stability.


• Operating System Management: Perform routine updates and patching of both Windows and Linux operating systems to ensure security, functionality, and compliance with organizational standards.

CERTIFICATION:  

EXPERIENCE:  

  • Bachelor’s degree + 10 years minimum experience

  • No degree + 15 years minimum experience
