Intern - Generative AI & Azure OpenAI

Centennial Technologies is seeking a dynamic and motivated AI/ML Specialist Intern to join our team. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work on the development, implementation, and optimization of Generative AI solutions. You will collaborate with experienced professionals to gain practical experience in AI technologies, machine learning models, and solution deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Deploy AI Models: Work with cross-functional teams to design, train, and fine-tune AI models, ensuring optimal performance and relevance.
• Train Machine Learning Models: Assist in setting up, configuring, and executing training pipelines for supervised, unsupervised, and generative models.
• Application Development & Deployment: Support the building and deployment of scalable solutions on platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Data Processing & Integration: Assist in data integration, preprocessing, and cleaning to maintain high-quality datasets for training AI models.
• Model Evaluation & Optimization: Conduct initial tests, assess model performance, and contribute to refining AI models for enhanced accuracy and efficiency.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of AI processes, training methodologies, and model performance.
• Research & Trend Analysis: Stay informed about the latest AI technologies, research, and applications to integrate new techniques where applicable.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and other specialists to align AI projects with business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in AI solution development.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud platform and Azure OpenAI.
• Familiarity with evaluating and selecting suitable LLMs and AI technologies.
• Understanding of Generative AI models, including GANs, Diffusion Models, VAEs, and Transformers.
• Experience in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and advance in AI technologies.
• Willingness to work onsite in Leesburg, VA, or Tysons Corner, VA, at least four days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Awareness of ethical considerations in AI development.
• CGPA of 3.5 or above is preferred.

Location & Work Arrangements:

• Four days a week at our Leesburg, VA, office
