About Central

What is Central?

Central is an automated back-office (ABO) designed for founders that handles all the bullshit required to run a compliant business like payroll, benefits, accounting, government filings, etc.

Unlike traditional HR platforms that require expertise and make you do extra work, Central acts as a proactive teammate that just takes of everything.

Why Central?

We’re on a mission to eradicate business bullshit so founders can fly.

Building a company is still way too hard. Founders still have to register in multiple states to run payroll, set up workers' compensation, pay various payroll-related taxes, deal with intimidating government mail, update addresses across state filings, and troubleshoot with insurance companies.

Imagine a world where ambitious founders have 30% more time to solve the world's most difficult problems—from preventing medical mistakes in hospitals to building next-generation night vision to curing brain cancer.

Currently, over 150 companies run on Central, and we're growing rapidly. We've also raised $8M+ from some of the best investors in the world (not announced yet, happy to share in private).

As a founding member, you'll have a seat at the table and help Central scale to serve thousands of companies.
