Prudential Reporting Manager (FTC - Temp. 6 months)

About you

You’ll be joining the Prudential Reporting team on a 6-months temporary contract. Reporting to the Head of Prudential Reporting, you’ll be a part of a fast-growing business that is challenging the market and doing things differently. 

The team is at an exciting and challenging point in its international growth journey, implementing a new strategic regulatory reporting system to support its evolving requirements and allow the team to comply with more complex regulations and scale efficiently. 

The key aim of this role is to support the team’s regulatory reporting requirements for both UK and EU regulators, implementing new processes and controls relating to the implementation of the new strategic reporting system. 

You’ll be used to working in a regulatory prudential reporting role, with the ability to interrogate data, interpret and apply reporting rules and guidelines, and prepare reports accurately and on time, explaining variances to support review and approval.. 

What you'll do

  • Reporting excellence – delivering a best-in-class standard to preparing, reviewing and submitting prudential regulatory reporting across the Group, including EBA COREP, FINREP as well as local Bank of England statistical reporting and DNB reporting requirements. 

  • Working closely with Finance, Treasury, Risk and key stakeholders in the wider business to support all prudential aspects of capital and liquidity planning and reporting.  

  • Support the ongoing horizon scanning of changes in the prudential regulatory pipeline conjunction with Compliance and Risk functions to ensure the reporting evolves in line with new rules and requirements.. 

  • Maintain the prudential reporting systems and internal controls to required standards. 

  • Develop standards and document processes to support the prudential regulatory control framework and help ensure the smooth running of the Group’s prudential regulatory reporting function.

What you bring

  • 8+ years of proven track record of delivering prudential regulatory reporting (specifically COREP, FINREP, BOE Statistical reporting, and others) for a regulated banking or credit institution, operating under pressure and to tight deadlines   

  • Extensive knowledge of PRA CRR Rulebook, CRR and CRD prudential regulation 

  • Excellent data analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Willingness to challenge and improve processes and procedures 

  • Experience working in a banking, financial services or payments environment

Our hiring process and what you can expect:

Application: a member of our talent acquisition team will review your application against the key requirements for the role and let you know within two weeks whether you’re moving forward to the next stage; 

Screening: You’ll spend 30-45 minutes speaking to one of our recruiters learning more about the role and ClearBank, and we’ll get it know more about you, your experience and how your skills align with the role (this will be via phone or Teams video call). You can expect to hear back from us within seven days following this meeting (if things are taking longer than expected, we’ll let you know that too); 

First Interview: You’ll spend one hour with a member of our hiring team focusing on your skills, competencies and your ways of working at the same time we’ll give you time to ask more questions about the role, the team and learn more about the ClearBank culture. This will be via Teams.  

Second Interview: This will be a competency-based interview with one or more members of our team.

Final Stage: You will have a final meeting with the Head of Department. This will be around 45-60 minutes.
