Head of Product/Product Lead

Clipbook is looking for an experienced Product Lead to join our team.


This is the first product hire at Clipbook, with the opportunity to have a great deal of control, autonomy, and leadership in product strategy & execution. You will be ‘running the show.


In this role, you will define our product organization from the ground up. That means building our product roadmap, interacting with customers to identify their needs, and establishing cross-functional leadership (across engineering, customer success, and sales) to ensure our products meet market demands.


This position is ideal for leaders with a passion for early-stage businesses, rapid execution, and a passion for early-stage product strategy.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Roadmap & Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on customer needs & business goals; collaborate with stakeholders to align the product roadmap with organizational objectives.; understand our existing and future customer needs through interviews, A/B testing, and conversations to execute on high impact feature development.
  • Customer Research & Engagement: Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and usability studies to gather insights and feedback; analyze customer needs and translate them into actionable requirements and user stories.
  • Agile Product Development: Partner with & lead our technical investments (drive overall strategy, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives; etc.); lead product design to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces; create and iterate upon UI/UX designs to ensure alignment with product goals.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum ~3 years experience in a product role, preferably in an early-stage business. Ideally more. But still ready for a fast-paced and execution-forward environment.
  • Exceptional execution capabilities, scrappiness, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for innovation in artificial intelligence.
  • Hands-on experience with SCRUM or other agile methodologies.


Preferred Skills:
  • Track record of early-stage experience (building a product from the ground up, from prototyping to MVP to scaled launch).
