Cloudflare is a leading global network company dedicated to building a better, faster, and safer Internet. We seek a Network Engineer passionate about network technologies and eager to contribute to a resilient network infrastructure spanning 335 cities worldwide.

Skills

Proficiency with multiple network vendor operating systems
Strong understanding of BGP and OSI model with experience troubleshooting network, hardware, and software issues
Scripting experience using Bash, Python, or similar languages
Ability to work collaboratively in customer-facing team environments
Capability to prioritize and perform under high pressure situations

Responsibilities

Operate and engineer Cloudflare’s network infrastructure, including provisioning and managing hardware and software
Perform day-to-day network operations and monitoring in coordination with Site Reliability, Infrastructure, and Customer Support teams
Create and maintain network documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
Collaborate with network peers to handle inquiries and provide performance data analysis

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred but not strictly required)
