Software Engineer - Network Services

Cloudflare is a global technology company dedicated to building a better Internet by protecting, accelerating, and improving performance for millions of Internet properties. They are seeking curious and empathetic Software Engineers to develop scalable, secure, and high-performance distributed systems across their global network.

Skills

Proficiency with continuous integration workflows and version control (git)
Strong debugging and system analysis skills
Experience with API design and secure systems development
Fluency in multiple programming languages, preferably Go and/or Rust
Knowledge of network protocols and distributed systems architecture

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain high-performance distributed systems and network services
Develop secure APIs and debug complex issues to ensure system robustness
Collaborate across teams to optimize traffic processing, caching, and data pipelines
Enhance network infrastructure supporting millions of Internet properties at massive scale
Participate in on-call rotations to address technical incidents and maintain uptime

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
