Senior QA Engineer

Codal is an award-winning web design and development consultancy specializing in data-driven digital solutions for enterprise clients. They are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with strong UI/UX proficiency and testing expertise to join a collaborative, global team focused on delivering quality software through agile methods.

Skills

Experience in web, mobile, API, and requirements testing
Strong UI/UX knowledge
Proficiency with software testing methods including functional, end-to-end, and regression testing
Ability to write thorough test documentation and create bug reports
Basic SQL and scripting skills
Knowledge of test methodologies, SDLC (Agile, Scrum), STLC, and bug life cycle
Familiarity with Jira, X-Ray, and Zephyr test management tools
Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

Analyze requirements and write and execute test cases for usability and performance issues
Conduct test design, execution, and exploratory testing
Develop and implement a strategy-based approach to testing
Create detailed test reports and recommend improvements
Participate in test planning meetings and provide feedback on requirements and design documents
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities with product and development teams

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
