Manufacturing Manager

A client of ours that is an established Lehigh Valley manufacturing company has an opening for an engineering or management graduate to assist CEO with sales, marketing, and special projects. Successful candidate should be mechanically inclined; analytical; and possess strong people-skills. The Corporation's main focus is the horticultural industry, but also provides services within the cryogenic insulation markets for mining, construction, and chemical industries.


Job responsibilities:
  • General Operational Oversight: provide possible solutions to improve current systems; assist with purchasing and manage daily corporate operations.
  • Sales Support: assist with customer quotes; work on-site to oversee cryogenic insulation contracts to ensure project efficiency.
  • Marketing Support: provide technical sales and product service support.
  • Special Projects: serve as the President's attaché to assist with new and ongoing projects.
  • Expansion projects and cost analysis: provide technical support for projects.


Qualification:
  • Engineering Degree (mechanical, electrical, chemical) or Management Degree
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in an industrial setting
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office products
  • Must have the physical ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces/ high areas
  • Must be willing and able to travel to US/Canada (including overnight travel)
  • Must be able to prioritize, manage time and multi-task
  • Must be self-motivated and deadline-oriented
  • Strong sense of accountability and job ownership
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
  • Detail oriented, analytical and meticulous
  • Positive attitude and desire to contribute in the advance of our business goals.


$70,000 - $90,000 a year
