Do you have a proven track record in managing design teams and leading complex projects in the foodservice industry? If so, we are seeking a Senior Foodservice Design Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will not only allow you to drive cutting-edge design solutions but also lead a talented group of designers to deliver exceptional foodservice concepts across diverse sectors, including corporate workplaces, education, sports, and leisure industries.Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment while ensuring the quality and timeliness of all design deliverables.Drive the creative development of new foodservice concepts, staying ahead of industry trends to meet the evolving needs of our clients and customers.Manage the full design lifecycle, from concept to completion, ensuring seamless execution of design phases (SD, DD, CD, CA), utilizing Revit and/or CAD.Oversee & produce precise equipment plans, utility rough-ins (plumbing and electrical), and Special Conditions details, ensuring coordination with architectural and engineering backgrounds.Select and review foodservice equipment, leveraging AutoQuotes to align with project and client standards, while also providing expertise in equipment cost estimating.Review and approve manufacturer drawings, cut sheets, and equipment quotes, ensuring accuracy and feasibility with project specifications.Lead the compilation and documentation of equipment specifications and manuals (11400), ensuring compliance with industry standards for successful on-site implementation.Collaborate with senior leadership, including Directors and VPs, to align design strategies with organizational goals and client expectations.Attend and actively contribute to design and engineering meetings, presenting solutions and progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.Manage project documentation, maintain design libraries, and ensure alignment between the Revit/CAD team and project management teams.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field is required. Master's Degree or additional certifications are preferred.Extensive experience in foodservice design and kitchen equipment specifications, particularly in managing large, complex projects through all design and construction phases.Proven leadership skills with experience in managing design teams and delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential; candidates without Revit experience will not be considered.Expertise in KCL and AutoQuotes for equipment selection, specifications, and cost estimation.Strong understanding of building codes, foodservice equipment standards, and construction processes, with hands-on experience in preparing 11400 specifications.Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Apply to Compass Group today!Click here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
