In this role, you will be leveraging your deep analytical skills, background in Data and Analytics Architecture, and knowledge of Power BIs capabilities and best practices to provide expert-level support and guidance in the implementation, customization, and optimization of solutions to our clients.RESPONSIBLITIES\tProvide enterprise data, analytics, and AI advisory and assessment services to Apex’s clients; with a focus on the Microsoft data stack.\tServe as the go-to expert on Power BI and provide in-depth knowledge and support to internal and external teams and stakeholders.\tDesign, implement, and maintain scalable data infrastructure that supports data ingestion, storage and processing pipelines.\tDevelop and enforce data security protocols, including access controls, encryption, and compliance.\tEstablish and oversee data quality frameworks, implementing automated validation checks, error detection systems, and monitoring tools to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of enterprise data.\tApply expertise in ETL/ELT processes to streamline data transformation and integration.\tLead statistical analysis efforts to extract insights and ensure data accuracy, enabling the development of robust reporting frameworks.\tCollaborate with stakeholders to architect data solutions that enable advanced analytics, reporting, and business intelligence capabilities in alignment with business/organizational objectives.\tDesign, develop, and customize Power BI implementations and configurations, ensuring alignment with business goals and requirements.\tDefine best practices and implement solutions for monitoring and optimizing the performance of Power BI solutions.\tDevelop and deliver training documentation, user guides, and best practices guidelines for development, end-user, and additional technical resources on the usage and best practices of Power BI.\tDevelopment of data models that align with reporting and business needs.\tUtilize statistical analysis techniques to ensure data accuracy and integrity in reports and dashboards.\tManage and oversee projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.\tCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and stakeholder satisfaction.\tDemonstrate strong technical knowledge and implementation skills. Stay current on relevant technology trends and practices. Build trust and respect among internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate collaborative teamwork.\tProduce high quality deliverables, meet project deadlines, and take responsibility for engagement success. Listen and seek to understand the client and meet their needs, providing consultative guidance.\tStay attuned to the future needs of the client and work with internal resources to identify opportunities.\tProactively provide solutions and approach adversity with a solution-focused mindset.\tPerform assessments of clients environments and design robust solutions and roadmaps.\tEstablish a flexible and intuitive BI architecture using a reporting tool like Power BI/Tableau etc. that enables seamless analysis of critical data dimensions and supports scalability.\tEnsure adaptability of solutions to meet cross-functional needs, allowing deployment across various Data Governance, Data Analytics, and Data Science projects in the future.JOB REQUIREMENTS\tClient facing advisory and assessments in a Fortune 500 setting.\tDemonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing Power BI solutions in a business environment.\tIn-depth knowledge of Power BI components and architecture.\tExperience with data architecture, modeling, transformations, and ingestion patterns.\tExpert-level understanding of enterprise data architecture and analytics concepts like data product, data mesh, relational-data modelling, data integration, business intelligence and data-platform modernization.\tStrong experience with ETL/ELT processes with related tools, and statistical programming techniques.\tExperience building scalable visual reporting architectures with a focus on enabling flexible BI models for intuitive stakeholder use.\tProficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as SQL, Python.\tEnterprise data modeling experience and leadership (standards and best practices and guidance).\tBA/BS required, preferably in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields (applicable education and experience may be substituted).\tDemonstrated expertise in Data Architecture and components, including data infrastructure, security, migration strategies, governance, etc.\tExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\tExperience managing projects, adhering to defined timelines, budget, and quality.\tExperienced with working with teams of developers and other technical professionals in an Agile delivery framework.\tPositive relationship builder able to navigate through complex situations to ensure the most robust and pragmatic solution.\tStrong analytical skills and the aptitude to quickly identify gaps and risks.\tExcellent written and spoken communication skills including the ability to help stakeholders navigate the trade-offs and alternatives to various solution architectures.\tAbility to perform assessments of client environments and propose solutions.\tKnowledge of statistical analysis and techniques.\tMicrosoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst, Azure Solutions Architect or other relevant Microsoft certifications a plus.\tExperience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Purview is a plus.\tFamiliar with DataOps concepts and tooling for source control and CI/CD pipelines.\tExperience working in environments requiring deep integration of analytics, data governance, and flexible deployment of resources across diverse data engagements.OUR AWESOME BENEFITS:\tCompetitive salary\tHealth, Dental and Vision Insurance\tLong and Short-Term Disability\tLife Insurance\tVacation and Holiday Pay\t401k Retirement Plan\tTraining and Advancement opportunities\tTuition Reimbursement\tBirthdays Off\tPhilanthropic Opportunities\tReferral Program\tPartial Gym Membership Paid\tTeam Building EventsEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
