Short Description

  • Responsible for overall goals and objectives of  department
  • Responsible for growth and direction of practice, including streamlining and standardizing processes
  • Oversee clinical competencies of rehab staff
  • Provide EOC rounds and upkeep of environment, equipment and facilities
  • Responsible for oversight, mentoring, coaching, and counseling of clinical and support staff
  • Responsible for day to day staffing
  • Perform annual evaluations for all staff within area of responsibility
  • Responsible for the coordination of staff schedules, vacations, and coverage of clinic
  • Participate in leadership rounds
  • Participate in program development as a support service
  • Payroll
  • Responsible for all clinical activity in area of responsibility
  • Works on organizational projects or committees as assigned by Director
  • Supports regulatory compliance within the department
  • Provides patient care at least 50% of worked time

 

Experience Required

5 years leadership experience and/or an advanced degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree from an Accredited Allied Health Program

License/Certification Requirements

Current NJ- Occupational, Physical, or Speech Therapy License

Current CPR Certification via American Heart Association
