Job Description:
Craft and Technical Solutions is seeking a motivated Preservation Estimator to join a leading provider of marine and industrial preservation services based in Jacksonville, FL. If you're organized, detail-driven, and looking to grow your estimating career with a trusted name in the industry — we want to hear from you!

This role supports shipbuilders, repair yards, and industrial clients across the U.S. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals to deliver accurate, competitive bids for preservation and coatings projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and field data
• Solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors for materials and services
• Develop detailed bid proposals for ship preservation and coating scopes
• Assist senior estimators and project managers throughout the bidding process
• Analyze historical data and job costing trends to support bid accuracy

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of experience in estimating, industrial painting, coatings, or related construction field
• Marine or ship repair experience is highly preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
