SEO Manager

Credible is a marketplace empowering consumers to compare personalized loan and insurance rates through an ethical and user-friendly platform. They seek a data-driven SEO Manager to lead content SEO strategy for their Personal Loans vertical, focusing on innovative, scalable, and impactful search visibility tactics.

Skills

Strong background ranking highly on competitive SEO keywords
Ability to leverage data to justify SEO investment
Expertise in on-page, technical, and off-page SEO factors
Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMRush, ScreamingFrog
Ability to write content and technical briefs
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Understanding of HTML impact on SEO
Familiarity with WordPress and other CMS

Responsibilities

Develop and articulate SEO vision and strategy for personal loans content
Manage content workflow aligned with production timelines
Conduct topical, competitive research and interpret user intent
Pair keyword research with business data for recommendations
Craft, test, and iterate SEO hypotheses
Identify and capitalize on SEO and AI opportunities to increase organic traffic
Perform regular SEO audits and optimizations
Advise internal teams on SEO best practices
Support content optimization engine strategy and execution
Conduct large-scale on-page SEO analysis
Monitor organic search performance of competitors
Deliver SEO performance reports and actionable insights to executives
Stay current with SEO industry trends and knowledge

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, business, journalism, communications, IT or related field
