Senior Data Engineer, Palantir

Cross River is a fast-growing fintech company delivering innovative financial services worldwide. They seek a Senior Palantir Data Engineer to enhance AML & Fraud detection pipelines within Palantir Foundry, collaborating closely with compliance and engineering teams.

Skills

Proficiency with Palantir Foundry development tools including Pipelines, Code Workbooks (Python, PySpark, SQL), Object Builder, and Ontology.
Strong experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines in modular data environments.
Expertise with Spark, PySpark, and SQL for large-scale data processing.
Experience with unit testing, CI/CD practices, and deployment in enterprise data platforms.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Implement, maintain, and test AML monitoring scenarios using Palantir Foundry tools such as Code Workbooks, Object Builders, and Pipeline Workflows.
Design and develop data pipelines for AML entity modeling, data enrichment, and temporal financial behavior analysis within the Foundry Ontology framework.
Create test cases and collaborate with QA and Compliance teams to ensure accuracy and coverage of AML scenarios.
Monitor and optimize Spark-based pipeline performance and resolve data processing issues.
Maintain documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Investigations, BSA/AML Compliance, and Data Governance.
Provide L2 support for AML scenario pipelines and participate in platform enhancement initiatives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field preferred.
