  • Build deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud engineering, and cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Collaborate with customers’ data engineers, system administrators, DevOps teams, and management to understand and solve reliability challenges.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, maintaining 24x7 coverage and responding to incidents during scheduled pager periods.
  • Contribute to side projects, including open-source contributions, internal monitoring systems, and process improvements.
  • Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to influence product roadmap and reliability enhancements.
  • Participate in remote team events and occasional in-person gatherings to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or related roles.
  • Demonstrable experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or containerized environments.
  • Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong Linux proficiency and comfort with system administration tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Motivation to learn new technologies and take ownership of customer-facing issues from start to finish.
  • Bonus qualifications include experience with customer-facing roles, DevOps practices, open-source contributions, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Splunk.
  • Competitive salary: $140,000–$150,000 USD, depending on experience, plus equity component.
  • Fully remote work with flexible scheduling (core hours 12PM–6PM Pacific US).
  • Opportunity for professional growth and skill development across cloud and infrastructure disciplines.
  • Paid on-call rotation with support for weekend coverage.
  • Access to open-source projects and opportunities to contribute to the broader data engineering community.
  • Participation in team events, internal knowledge-sharing programs, and side-project initiatives.
