Sale Director

Join the fastest growing segment of the beverage industry. The Director of Sales East is a key sales leadership position for the company and is accountable for driving company revenue and new item implementation and will be responsible for developing and executing key growth strategies, tactics, and action plans required to achieve company objectives. The Director of Sales is accountable for building the brand and driving company revenue in multiple channels, including but not limited to: natural grocery, conventional grocery, on-premise and specialty retailers. You will be the other half of our Sales leadership Dynamic Duo.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Maintain and/or increase profitable sales growth within their region against assigned budgets and plans
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve/exceed sales targets and to expand the company’s customer base through new and expanded distribution opportunities
  • Conduct weekly sales activity and sales pipeline reporting
  • Effective management of the sales process and budgets for their region
  • Understand and make positive contributions to activities in other regions
  • Manage promotional pricing, distributor impact, and account specific events
  • Understand and align brand strategies with account plans
  • Provide input on account capabilities to marketing in the development of brand and account strategies
  • Execute promotional plans within budget
  • Analyze available data to understand trends at the account
  • Manage communication to distribution providers
  • Direct distributors on account priorities and account specific projects
  • Attend and participate in webinars, conference call updates and email communications
  • Work with Marketing to develop promotional and marketing programs at the customer to drive short and long term growth
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in sales leadership roles in the beverage industry
  • Strong existing relationship with major beverage chain retailers preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in using implementation plans to drive sales success
  • Proven sales leadership and presentation abilities
  • Strong team orientation with interpersonal skills to support
  • Prior experience with brand development and systems to support aggressive business and brand growth
  • Ability to collaborate with people in diverse functional areas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Willingness to travel (air and car) up to 50% of the time
