Client Support Manager, Software and Controls Support

Designed Conveyor Systems (DCS) specializes in custom material handling and conveyor solutions and is seeking a proactive Client Support Manager to oversee 24/7 software and controls support, manage support team operations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Experience managing support teams and operations
Knowledge of software, conveyor controls, electrical and mechanical systems
Proficient with support metrics and continuous improvement
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Leadership and mentoring capabilities
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Oversee 24/7 support operations and manage the call rotation
Assist and escalate technical troubleshooting involving software, conveyor controls, electrical, and mechanical issues
Implement and report on support metrics to drive improvements
Establish best practices for software support and coordinate with Engineering
Manage client support sales operations including contracting and billing
Hire, mentor, and develop team members ensuring organizational transparency and accountability
Act as escalation resource for support inquiries and emergencies
Drive process improvements across client support functions

Education

Bachelor's Degree in a related field
