Principal AI and Machine Learning Engineer

Dev Technology Group is a mission-driven IT company specializing in advancing technology solutions for federal government clients. They seek a Principal AI and Machine Learning Engineer with extensive experience to architect and lead AI/ML initiatives supporting homeland security, defense, and law enforcement sectors.

Skills

Expertise in Python and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
Proven ability to build AI/ML solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts.
Experience with data engineering and AI pipeline architecture.

Responsibilities

Define and execute technical vision and strategic roadmap for AI/ML initiatives.
Architect, develop, and deploy sophisticated ML models including NLP, computer vision, and generative AI.
Design and implement robust data pipelines and MLOps frameworks on AWS and Azure.
Collaborate with program managers and stakeholders to translate mission requirements into scalable AI solutions.
Mentor and guide engineering and data science teams.
Evaluate and integrate emerging AI/ML technologies to maintain innovation leadership.

Education

Master’s degree or PhD in relevant technical field.
