Sr .Net Developer

A company developing proprietary insurance industry technologies is seeking a Senior .Net Developer to support their migration from VB.Net to .NET Core and to implement AI-driven solutions. This role offers a balanced exposure between backend and frontend development, excellent team collaboration, and client interaction opportunities.

Skills

Proficiency with VB.NET and .NET Core frameworks.
Hands-on C# programming experience.
Experience as a full-stack developer with a backend focus.
Familiarity with MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
Competency in using Git, Visual Studio 2019, TFS, JIRA, and Agile methodologies.
Client-facing experience to support requirement gathering and communication.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend systems primarily using .NET Core and VB.NET.
Work on frontend technologies including MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
Collaborate within a small agile team contributing ideas and technical expertise.
Engage in client interactions to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
Participate in migration efforts from legacy VB.Net applications to modern .NET Core frameworks.
Leverage AI technologies as part of system enhancements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
