Job Purpose:

The selected candidate will participate in and oversee analytical and programming assignments aimed at developing, enhancing, and maintaining automated information systems. These systems are critical for operational efficiency across multiple state agencies. The role requires technical proficiency in programming, testing, integration, and version control within complex IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and troubleshoot software issues, perform coding, and conduct peer reviews of code.
• Execute unit and system testing, including tests related to platform upgrades and security patches.
• Perform data loading operations using relevant tools and coordinate integrations with other software applications.
• Manage software source code versioning and configuration.
• Deliver new software development, as well as enhance and maintain existing applications.
• Collaborate closely with other agency services teams and DTMB enterprise groups to ensure system integrity and functionality.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4 to 8 years of experience developing with Microsoft Power Platform, including Microsoft Dynamics and Power Portal.
• 4 to 8 years of experience with Object-Oriented Programming Languages, and technologies such as XML/SOAP, JSON, REST APIs, and SQL.
• Proven knowledge of application and database development and access methods (4 to 8 years).
• 3 to 5 years experience with browser-based (web) and object-oriented application design methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data, identify problems, and formulate effective IT solutions (3 to 5 years).
• Ability to prepare detailed technical documentation and written instructions (3 to 5 years).
