Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled Programmer Analyst 6 to lead the design, development, and support of enterprise-level web applications. This role involves full-stack development, including analysis, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance of complex systems. The ideal candidate will work in an Agile environment, collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders, and ensure software solutions meet performance, security, and usability standards. The position requires proficiency in modern development tools, secure coding practices, and strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop robust, testable code using Angular, ASP.NET, C#, XAML, HTML, and SQL Server.
• Build business application components using Object-Oriented programming with strong C# design principles.
• Create and maintain SSRS reports and RESTful Web APIs.
• Manage full SDLC tasks including requirements gathering, design, development, and deployment.
• Design logical and physical database models, and develop stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues using T-SQL and performance tuning methods.
• Integrate components into scalable, secure software systems.
• Work with source control tools such as GIT and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy applications on Azure and IIS servers; knowledge of Azure Web Services is a plus.
• Develop detailed technical documentation, wireframes, flowcharts, and screen layouts.
• Build and test application prototypes and mockups in collaboration with end users.
• Participate in peer reviews, artifact validations, and adhere to DTMB standards.
• Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, and aligned with state and federal guidelines.
• Provide leadership in code reviews and mentorship on best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 9+ years of hands-on experience with Angular, C#.NET, HTML, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• 5+ years of expertise with SSRS, XAML, ASP.NET, MVC, and MVVM architecture.
• Strong experience with writing and debugging stored procedures, views, triggers, and complex queries in SQL Server.
• Proven skills in developing and consuming REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with Microsoft IIS platform administration and configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies, sprint cycles, and DevOps tools like Azure DevOps/TFS.
• Proficiency in version control using GIT, and experience in unit and regression testing.
• Solid understanding of web application security best practices, including prevention of SQL injection and XSS.
• Strong written documentation and oral presentation abilities.
• Skilled in problem-solving, requirements analysis, and technical specification creation.
• Ability to work independently and in collaborative Agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Oracle databases and OpenShift/Kubernetes containers.
• Exposure to Identity Server and secure user authentication methods.
• Experience with logging frameworks and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of Project Management Methodologies (PMM) is a plus.
