Software Engineer, Android Full Stack

DoorDash is a rapidly growing tech and logistics company aiming to empower local economies by providing a server driven UI platform to enhance engineering productivity. They seek an experienced Software Engineer to contribute to Android and backend SDK development and collaborate across teams to deliver impactful initiatives.

Skills

Expertise in Android development using Kotlin and Compose.
Strong experience with frontend client development with 4+ years.
Backend development experience in Golang, Kotlin, and Protobuf.
Familiarity with Server Driven UI systems.
Product mindset focused on building platform services.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop foundational components for Android and backend SDKs using Kotlin and Golang.
Build runtime Kotlin libraries and tools including Intellij and Cursor-based development utilities.
Collaborate with engineers, technical product managers, and engineering managers across the company.
Implement industry best practices for Kotlin and Golang development.
Contribute to shaping and improving the engineering culture within the team.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
