Software Engineer, Build and Backend DevEx

DoorDash is a rapidly growing technology and logistics company focused on empowering local economies. The Build & Backend DevEx team seeks a Software Engineer to improve build infrastructure and developer tooling to enhance developer productivity using languages such as Kotlin and Go.

Skills

Proficiency in Kotlin, Go, Java, or Python
Experience building internal tools, developer frameworks or backend services
Familiarity with CI/CD systems and build tools such as Bazel, Gradle
Contributions to developer experience tooling
Developing scalable, maintainable solutions to improve developer workflows

Responsibilities

Contribute to core Build infrastructure and Developer Experience powering CI/CD
Improve developer workflows via tooling, automation and standardization
Develop solutions in Kotlin, Go and Python to enhance productivity and maintainability
Participate in cross-functional projects focusing on scalable, maintainable systems
Collaborate with a motivated and talented development team

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
