Please Note: This role will work a hybrid work schedule; some days in-location and some remote, with travel to all Douglas J schools required. 

Director of Admissions

Douglas J Aveda Institute is looking for a results-driven leader to elevate our admissions strategy and execution. As the Director of Admissions, you’ll serve as the company’s admissions expert, guiding teams, analyzing performance, and driving innovative solutions to exceed enrollment goals.

What You’ll Do

• Lead with Expertise: Take ownership of the admissions process from start to finish, providing clear direction, proven strategies, and support to maximize conversion and enrollment outcomes.
• Enhance Established Processes: Evaluate the current admissions pipeline, preserving what works while introducing fresh, innovative approaches. Use your expertise to recommend and implement strategies that drive exceptional results.
• Develop Data-Driven Strategies: Design and execute initiatives grounded in analytics to improve lead conversion, refine processes, and exceed enrollment goals.
• Measure and Optimize Performance: Continuously analyze team performance and admissions data to identify strengths, troubleshoot challenges, and implement targeted improvements that deliver measurable outcomes.
• Empower and Inspire Teams: Motivate and coach your team to achieve their best, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and achievement. Oversee the Admissions Call Center, Outreach Coordinators, and Admissions Coordinators, ensuring alignment and peak performance.
• Collaborate for Success: Partner with Marketing, Financial Aid, and Institute Directors to align strategies and develop tailored plans for each campus, ensuring cohesive and effective execution.
• Elevate the Student Experience: Maintain Douglas J’s standards by ensuring the admissions pipeline offers a seamless and inspiring journey that highlights what sets us apart from competitors.

• Skilled in driving strategic initiatives, leveraging data for decision-making, and implementing innovative solutions.
• Exceptional communicator with a track record of inspiring and aligning teams toward shared goals.
• Skilled in talent management, from recruiting top performers to coaching and retaining them.
