The Demand team is composed of knowledgeable and energetic online advertising experts that helps bring Equativ’s programmatic solutions to market. The mission for the Customer Sucess Manager is to build long-term relationships with the most strategic Demand partners, representing some of the largest players in the AdTech industry. The Demand department is a critical component of driving Equativ adoption and shaping the future of an industry leader.


Equativ is looking for a detail-oriented, eager, and motivated individual to join our German CSM team. As one of our Customer Success Manager in the Düsseldorf office at Equativ, you will have the unique opportunity to work hands-on within the front lines of the online advertising industry; collaborate daily with the world's major ad agencies and helping them achieve their marketing objectives. You will be responsible for a variety of customer-facing activities including but not limited to responding to client inquiries, overseeing and reporting for client’s campaigns, and handling technical questions from clients and sales managers.


As a Customer Success Manager, you are the driver for successful campaign preparation and creation and you are at the front when it comes to customer communication and account management. With your strategic thinking, creative ideas and strong communication style, you will take our customer service to a new level.


✏️ Your mission
  • Respond to team and client inquiries that demand immediate attention and quick turnaround time.
  • Preparation of pre-sales documents and understand the client’s strategies in collaboration with the sales lead to ensure the RFPs match the clients needs and Equativ’s capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the Demand Optimization, Media Solutions and Sales Teams to ensure smooth campaign delivery and ensure campaign performance.
  • Creation of Equativ Branding / Performance Campaigns (Video, CTV, Display, Story and Programmatic Guaranteed campaigns)
  • Creation of programmatic Auction Packages / PMP deals in our own Maestro SSP as well as taking care of requests and concerns from our Curation customers
  • Attend and participate in client meetings, business reviews, Equativ business events, trade fairs and more.
  • Oversee advertising campaigns, make suggestions on how best to reach your client’s goals and development of targeting recommendations and concepts for addressing specific target groups.
  • Monitor, anticipate and solve campaign-related issues.
  • Strategise with other team members to come up with ways to improve campaign performance.
  • Lead troubleshooting for live campaigns.
  • Supporting the sales department in the comprehensive support of customers and in the development and expansion of trusting and long-term customer relationships.
  • Creation of reports and analyses based on common marketing KPIs.
  • Creation of screenshots and mock-ups to support the offer process and to give the customer the best possible idea of his potential campaign.
  • Support in the development and optimization of internal processes as well as taking over own side projects in daily business.


About you 💪
  • You have already gained good experiences in the field of account management or customer success management and also have a good technical understanding.
  • You have the perfect mix of strategic thinking and a creative mindset.
  • You have strong communication skills and you are open to customers and colleagues.
  • You are characterized by a customer-oriented, structured and goal-oriented way of working.
  • You have an enthusiasm for Digital Marketing and Advertising, Programmatic and the Ad Tech Ecosystem excites you.
  • You have already come into contact with digital advertising campaigns and are no stranger to this environment.
  • You have experience in one of the following areas: Online marketing, media planning, media agency.
  • You have outstanding analytical problem-solving skills.
  • You have good MS Office and Google Workspace skills.
  • German is a prerequisite and business fluent English is a must.
  • The little extra: Design/Photoshop knowledge, DSP knowledge and agency experience.
