Senior Manager, PMO Performance Tracking & Reporting

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Manager of Performance Tracking & Reporting is a crucial role within the Esports World Cup (EWC) project, responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive reporting systems, performance metrics, and feedback processes. This position is instrumental in building credibility by implementing consistent reporting systems, performance tracking, and a post-mortem & feedback culture. The role plays a vital part in enhancing the project's visibility, accountability, and overall success, requiring a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a Team of PMO Coordinators in a direct reporting line.
  • Develop and manage the official PMO reporting process for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with all relevant parties.
  • Establish reporting cadences, define metrics, and create visual frameworks for various stakeholder reports, tailoring them to specific stakeholder needs.
  • Implement and oversee approval processes for final reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all reporting channels.
  • Design and maintain a project health tracking system, including defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) that feed into the official PMO report.
  • Create and maintain project health reports that provide a holistic view of the project's status, risks, and performance.
  • Develop and implement a post-mortem and feedback process for continuous improvement, including assessing improvements from previous years.
  • Analyze past project performance and incorporate lessons learned into future project planning, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with EWCF's PMO team to align reporting standards and expectations, ensuring seamless integration of reporting processes.
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of proof of work, compliance, and legal reporting as required by EWC Foundation, adhering to all necessary standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other PMO managers to ensure that performance tracking and reporting align with strategic planning and standardization efforts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the project's credibility through transparent and effective reporting mechanisms.
  • Lead the creation of data visualization tools and dashboards to effectively communicate project performance to various stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular audits of reporting processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Provide training and support to team members on performance tracking methodologies and tools.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices in project performance measurement and reporting, implementing improvements as appropriate.
  • Possess advanced data analysis and visualization skills to create comprehensive project health tracking systems.
  • Demonstrate expertise in developing and implementing robust reporting frameworks for diverse stakeholder groups in form 
  • Show exceptional ability to translate complex project metrics into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
  • Strong compliance and reporting knowledge across different organizational contexts mostly tailored to proof of work compliance. 
  • Demonstrate proficiency in creating post-mortem and continuous improvement processes.
  • Showcase advanced organizational skills in managing multiple reporting streams and performance metrics.
  • Prove experience in developing key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with strategic organizational goals.
  • Show technical proficiency in project management and reporting tools.
  • Strong quality assurance skills to ensure accuracy and consistency in all reporting mechanisms.
  • Develop a proactive communication approach that turns complex data presentations into logical and clear narratives.
  • Demonstrate commitment to team goals by creating a supportive and motivational work environment that encourages collective problem-solving and hands-on attitude.
