Financial Planning Analyst

FP&AOverview: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial insights and projections through reliable data and analysis to be used in decision-making and planning. The FP will also provide finance support to the accounting team and assist with special projects as needed. A degree in finance/accounting is REQUIRED.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:• Provide FP&A finance support to the accounting teams related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner.• Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.• Work to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews.• Conduct in-depth analysis and subject matter expert to provide additional insight into financial data.• Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.• Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.• Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and sensitivity studies.• Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning Program strongly recommended• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment• Strong Excel skills• Experience developing financial reports and metrics• Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels• General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles• Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture• Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication• Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization• Bachelor’s degree and more than five years of experience in finance or accounting or a related areaBENEFITS:• Health insurance (medical, dental, vision STD/LTD)• Monday-Friday schedule• PTO (vacation, personal, sick)• Growth opportunitiesPHYSICAL DEMANDS - The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
