ETL (Informatica) Developer

CTEC is a technology firm delivering modernization, digital transformation, and application development services to U.S. Federal agencies. We are seeking a highly skilled ETL (Informatica) Developer to support modernization of legacy mainframe systems, design and implement ETL processes, and collaborate with business analysts and engineering teams to deliver mission-critical data solutions.

Skills

8+ years ETL experience with at least 6+ years using Informatica
Strong Oracle and PL/SQL development skills
Experience with database design, normalization, and performance tuning
Familiarity with data lake concepts and structured/semi-structured/unstructured datasets
Knowledge of HDFS, Kafka, NoSQL, RDBMS, SQL, and general data engineering tools/techniques
Experience in federal environment and working with security/clearance requirements

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter following development standards and best practices
Work with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data models
Define data extraction and transformation logic, data flows, and physical/logical data designs
Develop and maintain PL/SQL and custom Oracle applications; analyze schemas, triggers, and stored procedures
Lead complex database design, implementation, tuning, ETL, and backup/recovery activities for assigned projects
Develop test plans, test scripts, and validate solutions; provide post-deployment support and address user feedback
Conduct code reviews and ensure quality, performance, and compliance with standards

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (required)
