Fashion Design Intern Needed for KAHINDO

KAHINDO located in New York, NY seeks a part-time fashion design intern.

Candidate should have very strong patternmaking and sewing skills, technical flats, and grading knowledge. Candidate should also be able to source fabrics and trims and be proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator. 

Intern will gain extensive knowledge in all phases of design, from concept to production. They will help out at photoshoots, put line sheets together and take part in fashion shows. Intern will work with sewing and patternmaking contractors and do some muslin sewing as required. Lastly, intern will be working very closely with the designer and have an opportunity to do some designing including textile design.

This part-time internship position starts immediately. Work hours are flexible and this position will be FTP with college internship credits if needed.
