About the role

Firstbase.io is on a mission to build an “All-In-One Company OS” to enable global founders to launch, operate, and grow their businesses using Firstbase’s suite of products.

As a member of the Product Management team, you will work with a cross-functional team to plan, design, and develop new features focused on the core experience for our users. 

You will participate in the full lifecycle of product development, including conducting research & discovery to understand our members’ problems, developing a product roadmap, being the owner of PRDs (Product Requirements Document) and RFCs (Request for Comments), running sprint planning meetings and standups, and collaborating with partner teams to deliver a cohesive product experience. You’ll partner with design to come up with solutions that make money feel simple and approachable. You’ll define and analyze metrics that measure product success & health. Most importantly, you’ll challenge the status quo and inspire people toward a unified outcome.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for risk-takers with diverse experience who can provide fearless feedback.

You will have the following duties

  • Lead the development lifecycle of key consumer-facing features for the Start and Compliance squads, which together represent a significant percentage of Firstbase's revenue and are central to our founders' success.

  • Collaborate with a team of designers, engineers, and analysts to identify opportunities for new product experiences and improvements

  • Conduct customer research to uncover new needs and opportunities from our founders, ensuring future product development aligns with their evolving challenges and goals.

  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards with KPIS to inform our decision-making and product roadmap. 

  • Drive team execution by defining roadmap epics, feature stories, and overseeing the implementation and development

  • Collaborate with our growth and business operation teams to plan and run experiments to learn and optimize our product experiences

You should meet the following requirements

  • Be based in a LatAm country (although the position is remote)

  • At least 4 years of product management experience, including a minimum of 2 years leading cross-functional squads.

  • Proven experience in leading the end-to-end development of products, from initial concept and design through development, testing, and go-to-market strategy.

  • Experience communicating effectively with various stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and Government entities, to ensure alignment and successful collaboration.

  • Ideally possess a strong background in building complex products, such as fintech or compliance solutions, with a deep understanding of consumer needs and user experience.

  • Eager to engage with technical concepts to effectively collaborate with engineering teams and drive product development.

  • Willing to get hands dirty and do whatever is necessary to ensure success.

  • Ability to execute in a fast-paced and fluid startup environment.
