Our Tampere office has grown quite a lot in a couple years. This has also increased the need for a more centralized approach for finance, procurement, and HR related activities in addition to supporting the team in daily tasks. A single point of contact for such activities would clarify the workflow for the whole team and allow more time for the engineers to concentrate on tasks in their expertise areas. The office manager would take the responsibility e.g. to make sure the local legal obligations are followed and handle any procurement/payment problems such as customs and tax related issues.
Get familiar with all the Finland HR related activities and make sure the Finnish law is followed
Report benefits information to payroll
Follow up that all the absence are reported correctly
Learn and take responsibility on assisting in PO processes and support team on purchases
Support team for mail and shipping related tasks
Get to know all the local people and how they could be helped in daily tasks
Be a single point of contact for the defined office tasks
Get to know the relevant colleagues on the US side
Help to build and maintain the wonderful team spirit and atmosphere at the office
