Full Stack Java Developer (Remote)

Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and frontend components using Java and modern web technologies.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement scalable, high-performance full-stack solutions.
  • Build and optimize SQL-based databases and integrate with cloud services (AWS or Azure) as needed.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality, maintainable software.
  • Document technical designs, workflows, and application architecture for knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Apply learned skills to real-world, job-aligned projects, enhancing both technical and professional experience.
  • Engage in mentorship sessions, mock interviews, and portfolio development activities.

  • Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or related frameworks).
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex software issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and mentors.
  • Recent graduates, career changers, or self-taught programmers with demonstrable Java skills are encouraged to apply.

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and Agile development methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience building full-stack Java applications aligned with real-world job requirements.
  • Mentorship and mock interviews to build technical confidence and interview skills.
