If you thrive in a high-volume, manual transaction environment and have experience in consumer products (especially selling to big-box retailers), this role could be a great fit. Strong Excel skills and an eye for detail are essential as you'll play a key role in balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.What You’ll Do• Own the Numbers – Review and record balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries with accuracy and oversight.• Track Revenue – Maintain a patent license revenue tracker to ensure correct revenue accounting.• Excel Like a Pro – Use advanced Excel skills to analyze data, reconcile accounts, and support financial reporting.• Close the Books – Lead the monthly close process from start to finish, working alongside the Director of Finance.• Be the Go-To Accounting Liaison – Work with various departments to answer accounting-related questions, ensure compliance, and streamline financial processes.• Ensure System Accuracy – Partner with the team to maintain Microsoft Dynamics and True Commerce EDI, keeping automated transactions flowing correctly.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field1+ years of experience with manual journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations in a high-volume settingStrong Excel skills (comfortable with formulas, data analysis, etc.)ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics preferred, but similar systems work too)Excellent communication skills – You’ll be working with multiple departmentsConsumer products industry experience preferred (big-box retailer experience is a plus)Why Join Us?• Competitive salary ($60,000 – $70,000)• Hybrid schedule after training• Opportunity to work in a growing company with a dynamic team• Hands-on role with room for professional growth• MDV, 401k w/match and 2 weeks PTOIf you’re detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love keeping financial data accurate, we’d love to hear from you!📩 Apply now!At Goodwin Recruiting we are committed to our core values.
