Senior Frontend Engineer - Grafana Dashboards Core (Remote, USA EST)

Grafana Labs is a leader in open-source observability software with over 20 million users worldwide. They are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer for their Dashboards Core squad focused on building reliable, scalable dashboard experiences and developer platforms using React and TypeScript in a remote, EST time zone environment.

Skills

Proficient in frontend development with React and TypeScript using best practices.
Experience in designing and shipping frontend projects from requirements to deployment.
Strong problem-solving skills balancing engineering tradeoffs with a design-oriented mindset.
Effective communication skills for remote collaboration.
Ability to write maintainable, readable, and well-tested code.

Responsibilities

Design, build, operate, and maintain critical frontend systems ensuring reliability, performance, and availability.
Deliver new features and iterate improvements based on user and community feedback.
Collaborate across teams to maintain dashboard schema consistency and evolve platform capabilities.
Engage with open-source community contributions and support feature requests and bug reports.
Participate in influencing product roadmaps and personal career development.

Education

Relevant degree in Computer Science or related field preferred but not mandatory.
