GroupM Nexus is looking for a Senior Specialist within Programmatic, to manage our medium to large clients. This role is perfect for someone who can confidently communicate channel results and business impact to clients, while understanding the role of their channel in the broader marketing strategy. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, you will be the go-to person for insights that could impact the client's strategy.
As a Senior Specialist, you will also serve as a mentor to junior staff, guiding them through the learning process and ensuring they grasp the intricacies of platform skills. Your ability to delegate effectively and communicate clearly will be key in overseeing the work delivered by junior team members for your clients.
Your creative thinking will be instrumental in developing innovative tactics to enhance efficiency and drive added value for the client. Solution-oriented, you'll collaborate closely with the client team to devise the best solutions and streamline workflows, all with the aim of achieving stellar results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full spectrum of programmatic delivery for medium to large clients, including task delegation and supervision of junior team members' work.
- Manage client relationships and maintain effective communication with the agency and other stakeholders.
- Coach junior specialists' operational work including time management to ensure client profitability
- Ensure operational success and growth of your accounts.
- Understand client business objectives and contribute to their achievement.
- Innovate and develop tactics to boost efficiency or add value for the client, identifying further opportunities beyond the current scope.
- Work towards integrating execution with our other products and services.
- Adopt an upselling approach in client meetings to identify valuable out-of-scope products and services for the client and GroupM.
- Lead a test and learn agenda for clients, documenting results, and creating case studies to share with the team.
- Conduct operational work within DSP platforms, managing and optimizing programmatic campaigns for our largest clients to ensure alignment with their business objectives and deliver exceptional results.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in programmatic buying, with a preference for backgrounds in both agency and client-side roles.
- Detailed knowledge of at least two of the following DSPs; Xandr, DV360, Amazon and The Trade Desk
- Experience from stakeholder management and presentation
- A data-driven and business-oriented approach.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
