Application Security Analyst- Remote (Anywhere in the U.S.)

GuidePoint Security is a rapidly growing, privately-held cybersecurity company providing comprehensive application security services to top organizations and government agencies. They are seeking an Application Security Analyst to deliver assessments, support clients, and contribute to security research and marketing efforts.

Skills

Experience with Burp Suite, Postman, Netsparker, sqlmap, DirBuster, OpenSSL and similar testing tools.
Proficient in source code review for JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, PHP, or C#.
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in application security assessments and enterprise consulting.

Responsibilities

Deliver Application Security assessments across web, mobile, IoT, and thick client applications.
Author tailored assessment deliverables for technical and managerial audiences.
Contribute to Application Security research and marketing initiatives including conferences and publications.
Utilize automation and scripting to improve efficiency and capabilities.
Maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge in information security.
Foster strong client relationships through support and communication.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education

Minimum of 2 years performing Application Security assessments or equivalent understanding.
Minimum of 1 year experience in enterprise-level consulting services role.
Preferred industry certifications related to information security.
