Are you a passionate and innovative educational leader eager to inspire and support Jewish students? The Slifka Center for Jewish Life at Yale is searching for an Assistant Campus Rabbi who’ll create enriching experiences and foster a vibrant, pluralistic community on campus. In this role, you'll work alongside our dedicated Student Life Team, which includes our Campus Rabbi and Associate Chaplain, to engage deeply with Jewish students from all backgrounds. With your rabbinic ordination, you’ll take the helm as a spiritual leader within either Slifka’s Reform or traditional Egalitarian minyan, sharing your knowledge and love for Jewish texts and traditions. Your role involves proactive outreach to students, so expect to build lasting relationships while mentoring them on their Jewish journeys. You'll be instrumental in championing an inclusive environment where everyone feels connected to their Jewish identity, culture, and community. By bringing creativity and collaboration to the table, you'll also enhance interfaith initiatives and contribute positively to campus life. At the Slifka Center, we believe your warm, welcoming demeanor and expertise in pastoral care will make a significant impact on our students' lives. If you have a passion for fostering community and guiding young adults, this is a fantastic opportunity to connect with the next generation of Jewish leaders. We encourage you to apply, especially if you're a recent or impending rabbinic school graduate. Help us cultivate a meaningful, engaging space where Jewish values and community can thrive at Yale!
