This role requires a deep understanding of social platforms, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies that enhance Tatcha’s digital presence. You will oversee social platform health, performance analytics, content strategy, and community engagement, while managing a direct report responsible for day-to-day community management.In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with brand marketing, influencer relations, creative, and paid media teams to ensure our social presence is optimized for impact, innovation, and brand affinity.Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Strategy: Platform Health & Growth• Lead implementation of a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives sustained growth across priority platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging channels).• Serve as the social analytics lead, overseeing reporting and translating data into actionable insights to optimize content, increase engagement, and meet performance goals.• Lead the knowledge management of platform trends, updates, and best practices, ensuring Tatcha stays ahead of the evolving social landscape.• Establish and refine benchmarks for channel performance, making recommendations to enhance reach, engagement, and conversion.• Oversee social listening and sentiment analysis, identifying opportunities for real-time engagement and community-driven content.• Partner with the Director of Social Media and leadership teams to pivot strategies as needed based on platform shifts and emerging trends.Reporting & Analytics• Own the social media reporting process, delivering monthly performance dashboards with insights and recommendations to leadership.• Track, analyze, and report on key KPIs (engagement, reach, growth, sentiment, conversions) to optimize social strategy.• Lead post-campaign performance analysis, identifying key takeaways and implementing learnings for future activations.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to measure social media’s impact on e-commerce and overall brand objectives.• Stay ahead of emerging trends, algorithm shifts, and competitive activity, ensuring Tatcha remains at the forefront of social innovation.Community Engagement & Management• Oversee and guide community engagement strategy, working closely with the Community Manager to identify opportunities to deepen relationships with our audience, enhance brand affinity, and drive advocacy.• Develop and implement strategies to grow and strengthen Tatcha’s community, including interactive content, engagement campaigns, and surprise-and-delight moments that foster loyalty and connection.• Establish best practices for social care, issue escalation, and proactive audience engagement.Qualifications• 6-8+ yrs experience in social media marketing, with a strong track record of managing and executing successful campaigns.• B.A. in Communications, Marketing, or similar.• Proven experience leading and mentoring a team; this role will manage a team of three, fostering their professional growth and ensuring successful execution of social strategies.• Highly organized team player with exceptional project management and time management skills, capable of balancing multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment.• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills, with strong creative judgment to identify on-brand and on-trend content.• Expertise in creating compelling social media campaigns and effective content strategies tailored for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.• Ability to blend analytical and creative thinking, leveraging data insights to test, iterate and optimize social media content for maximum impact.• Collaborative mindset with the confidence to lead cross-functional teams and guide stakeholders when necessary to align on social strategies and deliverables.• Experience in beauty and wellness industries is a plus.• Knowledge of Japanese culture or having lived in Japan is a plus.The DetailsThe expected base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $140,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan based on personal performance and company results.
