The Imperial Beach Community Clinics (IBCC) Street Medicine Program is the only provider of street-based healthcare for our homeless neighbors in the South Bay Region. We aim to enhance the quality of life for these highly underserved and vulnerable patients by providing vital access to care through street-based medical teams providing full scope-primary care and enhanced community support for our unhoused neighbors, engage in patient advocacy, and evidence-based research to advance the health and wellness of people experiencing homelessness in Imperial Beach.

About the position

The Program Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing administrative functions within 

the Street Medicine program, which provides primary care to the unsheltered homeless 

population in San Diego. This role involves ensuring clinical compliance, managing equipment 

and supplies, supporting clinical teams, and facilitating effective communication with various 

stakeholders. The position is essential for the growth and operational success of the program, 

which operates without a fixed-site clinic.

Responsibilities

• Oversees staff calendars, schedules meetings, and maintains office equipment and supplies.

• Liaises with leadership, centralized clinical and administrative staff, and various other stakeholders

• Liaises with centralized offices to address provider or patient concerns or special requests.

• Researches and gathers data for ad hoc reports and conducts preliminary analysis of data.

• Assists with public relations and the development of marketing strategies to promote clinical services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/education.

• 2 years of related experience in an office setting.

• Familiarity with clinical operations and ability to handle confidential information.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• 4 years of related experience preferred.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Experience in clinical operations compliance and billing.
