Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support a large steel manufacturing client out of Lexington, NC. This candidate will be joining either the Melt Shop or the Rolling Mill teams but must be comfortable joining either team.The Lexington plant is being stood up and is expected to open in Q1 of 2025. Prior to the plant opening, the Mechanical Maintenance Technician team will be working on-site to learn and understand all of the maintenance for the state-of-the-art equipment being installed. Once the plant opens, the day-to-day duties will include troubleshooting and repairs, cooperating with and supporting operations, aggressively pursuing process improvement, assisting with documentation and training for all equipment, and other duties as assigned.Before plant openings: Day Shift 6:30 am - 4:30/5 pmPost-plant opening shifts:Rotating Shifts: 4 on 4 off• 4 days on• 12-hours shifts• 4 days off• 4 nights on• 12-hour shifts• 4 days offRequired Skills and Experience• 2+ years of Industrial Mechanical Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment• Knowledge of and experience with:• Hydraulic Theory• Hydraulics or Pneumatics• Fluid dynamics / Fluid theory• Electrical theory• Mechanical theory• load dynamics• Welding• Bearings and Couplings• Motor & Machine Maintenance ExperienceCompensation:$90,000 to $110,000 per year annual salary.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law
