We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and integrations across multiple business domains. You will play a key role in extracting, transforming, and surfacing data, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout the process. This position requires both technical expertise and the ability to solve business challenges by leveraging data effectively. Please note: This position is based locally in a small business in Columbia, MO. Position will be full-time in-office. Preference to local applicants.Responsibilities:• Build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards to support various business functions.• Develop integrations to extract data from software platforms via REST APIs and other endpoints.• Ensure data cleanliness, quality, and integrity through automated testing and validation.• Model and transform data to align with reporting needs and surface it using Looker or other BI tools.• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to identify issues and develop solutions through data insights.• Manage multiple projects and shift priorities as needed based on evolving business requirements.• Use Git version control to manage codebases and collaborate effectively with the team.• Build and maintain ELT/ETL processes, from data extraction to dashboard creation.• Maintain data warehouses and support business reporting requirements.• Automate data processes and deploy scalable solutions to improve operations.Required Skills & Experience:• 3+ years of experience building reports using a BI tool (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Qlik).• Strong SQL knowledge for querying and data transformation.• Intermediate knowledge of Python for data manipulation and automation.• Experience with Git version control.• Familiarity with data modeling standards and best practices.• Experience building REST API integrations.• Proven ability to identify business problems and independently develop solutions.• Experience managing end-to-end ELT/ETL processes, from data extraction to visualization.• Basic database administration knowledge and familiarity with data warehousing.• Experience with data transformation platforms (e.g., dbt).Preferred Skills & Experience:• Basic understanding of data architecture principles.• Familiarity with Linux administration.• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and versioned deployments.• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes container management.• Exposure to AWS services (e.g., EC2, ECS).• Experience with data orchestration platforms (e.g., Airflow, Dagster).• Familiarity with Snowflake for data storage.• Experience with ERP systems or basic knowledge of accounting practices.• Background in technical support or experience assisting non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:• Local to the Columbia, MO area• Small business primary experience (including working for entrepreneurial businesses)• Experience navigating projects independently (not led by a PM)Why Join Us?At The Premiere Group, you'll be part of an innovative team that values creativity, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.
